Chemical properties: melting point 240-241 ℃. It is easily soluble in aliphatic hydrocarbons, alcohols and ethers, slightly soluble in aromatics and difficult to dissolve in water.

Usage: 4,4'-BPS is mainly used as a color fixing agent. In addition, it can be used as plating solution additive, leather tanning agent, dispersant of disperse dyes for high-temperature dyeing, phenolic resin hardening accelerator, resin flame retardant, etc. It is also an intermediate of pesticides, dyes and additives.

Typical Properties

It has excellent heat resistance, light resistance and oxidation resistance. It is the raw material for the synthesis of polycarbonate, epoxy resin, polysulfone and polyether inkstone resin. Bisphenol s can also be used to synthesize dye fixing agent and leather tanning agent. It can also be used as an intermediate of electric ferry additives, dyes, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, additives and so on.
