Soda Plant of Shandong Haihua Co., Ltd., founded in 1983, is one of the main branches of the listed company Shandong Haihua Co., Ltd.
The predecessor of the enterprise is Shandong Weifang soda plant, with a design capacity of 600000 tons of soda ash per year. It is a national key construction project during the Seventh Five Year Plan period, which was completed and put into operation in 1989. Relying on its unique geographical location, convenient transportation conditions and rich mineral resources, the soda plant has more than 1600 on-the-job employees and two new and old production lines after years of development. The annual production capacity reaches 3million tons, accounting for one tenth of the total national production capacity, ranking first among domestic synthetic alkali production enterprises.
In recent years, the soda ash plant has actively integrated with the international advanced management mode and passed the acceptance of the "double mining" project for the first time in the same industry in China. Since 1997, it has successively passed the certification of quality, occupational health and safety and environmental management system, and established, improved and implemented the measurement management system and energy management system. Through deepening enterprise reform and strengthening quality management, the quality of "Yuandu" brand soda ash has reached the advanced level of similar international products, and won the titles of "Shandong famous brand" and "Shandong product quality award".
