Sinakase hydrochloride is a calcium mimicking agent, which can improve the disorder of bone metabolism in uremia and delay the progress of vascular and valve calcification in dialysis patients. However, long-term use of sinakase will also bring side effects such as nausea and vomiting, hypocalcemia and excessive inhibition of parathyroid hormone (PTH). Sinakasai is characterized by not only reducing the whole serum PTH level, but also reducing the levels of serum calcium, serum phosphorus and the product of serum calcium and phosphorus.
