Uses
A series of naphthalene dyes, such as C.I. Acid Black 35, C.I. Reactive Orange 35, Navy grey and sulfide dark green 3gw, can be produced by using the pericentral acid;
It can be used to prepare other dye intermediates, such as phenyl Peri Acid, tolyl Peri Acid, amino c acid, Chicago acid, etc;
It is used for manufacturing 1.8-naphthol sulfonic acid as an intermediate of Latin blue GGN;
It can be used to produce a variety of reactive dyes, vat dyes, etc.
