Carnauba Wax

Carnauba wax is obtained from the leaves and buds of the Brazilian wax palm Copernicia cerifera. The wax is hard, brittle, sparingly soluble in cold organic solvents and insoluble in water. Carnauba wax is used in the baked goods and baking mixes , chewing gum, fresh fruits and others as food ingredients.
