Applications of 1-Nitroanthraquinone:
1-Nitroanthraquinone is a chemical intermediate, which can be used to synthesize 1-aminoanthraquinone. 1-aminoanthraquinone is a ruby crystal, insoluble in water, soluble in ethanol, diethyl ether, chloroform, acetone, benzene and glacial acetic acid. It is mainly used to prepare anthraquinone dyes, drugs and determine nitrite. It has slight toxicity. 1-aminoanthraquinone is an important dye intermediate, which can be used to prepare vat dyes, acid dyes, disperse dyes, reactive dyes and direct dyes.
