Chemical property: Yellow acicular crystal. Hardly soluble in water, easily soluble in ethanol. The solubility in acetone, chloroform and ethyl acetate were 3.4%, 1.2% and 1.9%, respectively.
Use: as an important dye intermediate, used for dispersing yellow brown 3GL, decomposing yellow brown 2RFL, dispersing Brown 3R, and dispersing Brown 5R. In the late 1950s, it began to be sold as a fungicide. As a broad-spectrum agricultural fungicide, it can control Sclerotinia of sweet potato, yam, cucumber, lettuce, cotton, tobacco, strawberry, potato and so on; Soft rot of sweet potato, cotton and peach; Late blight of potato and tomato; Wilt of apricot, almond and apple; Smut of wheat; Fava bean flower rot. Chlornitramine can be mixed with most pesticides, fungicides, Bordeaux mixture and lime sulfur.
