Glycerol Triacetate is a colorless oily liquid. Glycerol Triacetate has slight oil smell and is soluble in water, ethanol, ether, acetone, benzene and chloroform. Glycerol Triacetate can be prepared by esterification of acetic acid and glycerin in the presence of sulfuric acid.
