Sarshika Pharmachem LLP was incorporated in the year 2018, with the objective of indigenously manufacturing: Pharmaceutical Ingredients; Nutraceutical Ingredients. The company’s mission is to provide an alternative to Chinese manufactured products to the Indian pharmaceutical and nutraceutical formulator. Sarshika Pharmachem LLP is the first and only company in India to produce L-carnitine. A well equipped R&D lab with a dedicated and vibrant team, supported by its QA & QC team are the key to fulfilling the company’s mission. The company has been approved by the Food & Drug Control Administration, to manufacture its products namely L-Carnitine and its salts, L-Ornithine L-Aspartate, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Ginko Dry Extract and Ginseng Dry Extract at a loan license facility. The current production capacity of the facility is 120MT p.a. In addition to the loan license facility, the company is already in the process of setting up its own manufacturing facility in a 2 Acre land for which the company already has obtained approval from KIADB and Environment Department. The facility would be constructed in 2 phases. Phase 1 of the facility is expected to be ready by mid of 2023, which would further enhance the manufacturing capacity of the company for pharmaceutical and nutraceutical ingredients by 300 MT p.a. The company’s R&D is well equipped with all equipments required for developing molecule/ingredient in kilo lab scales with an available pilot scale setup for scaling up and validation of developed processes.  The company believes in continuous R&D activity with the help of its team of young scientists to develop new molecules & cost effective manufacturing technologies.  The company’s quality oriented approach is well supported by its Quality Control Department which is well equipped with testing equipments like GC, HPLC, UV, KF, IR etc. We are also tied up with external NABL accredited labs for analysis on advanced instruments like LCMS, GCMS and AOS.  The established QC system ensures complete product traceability from raw material to finished goods. All raw materials, in-process materials &finished goods undergo stringent quality checks as per validated testing methods. Products are manufactured by proprietary processes in our manufacturing site where quality control starts from receipt of raw material till dispatch of finished goods. This is ensured by: -Validation of processes before regular production. -Raw material dispensing in controlled environment under HEPA filters for quality tests approval. -Adherence to men and material movement as per cGMP requirement. -Production in clean rooms which confirm to ISO class 8 with cGMP standard equipments. -Purified water is used for equipment cleaning. -Proper validated cleaning protocols to avoid cross contamination during product change over. The company emphasizes on reducing burden on environment thereby maintaining natural biodiversity and also focuses on safety of its human resources, hence the manufacturing facility has proper demarkation of green belt, gas fired utilities are used to avoid air pollution, proper fire fighting arrangements are in place and an in-house ETP/STP system along with Multi Effect Evaporator is installed making it a ZLD facility.
