Ningbo Jinfa New Material Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Hireal”), founded in April, 2011, is jointly funded by Zhejiang Haiyue Company Limited (holding company), Ningbo Yinshang Investment Co., Ltd. and Ningbo Wanhua Petrochemical Investment Co., Ltd with registered capital of RMB1.37 billion. Hireal is located in Qingshi Industrial Park of Ningbo Economic-Technical Development Zone and covers an area of 0.87km2. Adjacent to Ningbo Port, China’s 2nd largest port, Ningbo Petrochemical Economic & Technological Development Zone (state level) and Sinopec Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Company, Hireal is endowed with unique geographical and industrial clusters advantages. Hireal plant, with total investment of approximately RMB 16 billion, is an important project to support National Petrochemical Industry Base as well as one of major projects outlined in “the 12th Five-Year Plan” for both Ningbo municipality and Zhejiang Provincial government. A total of RMB 8 billion has been invested in phase-I project, which will be put into operation in the first half of 2014, mainly including 600KTA PDH Unit, 600KTA CDAlky® Unit, 1000KTA Gas Separation Unit, 40KTA MEK Unit, 30KTA WSA Unit, 50,000-ton chemical specialized wharf, 373,000m3 tank capacity and utilities & auxiliary facilities, etc. All process units are built with the most advanced process technology at home and abroad, which ensure such advantages as low energy consumption, high environmental protection, high economic benefits, high reliability and quality, etc. Over RMB 7 billion is expected to be invested in phase-II project, as an extension of industrial chain for phase-I output, mainly including 300KTA polypropylene unit, 2000KTA DCC comprehensive unit, 125KTA butadiene unit, etc. Taking “entrepreneurship, innovation and mentality to be first-class entity” as guideline and sticking to the management philosophy of “putting people first and developing in a scientific way”, through recruiting various middle and high end talents from all over the country, Hireal currently employs nearly 600 staff, of which over 30 are senior professionals and over 80% are certified with college degrees or above.
