O-toluidine

O-toluidine is an important intermediate in the production of dyes and pigments. It can be used to prepare direct red 62, red group RL, magenta group G, jujube red group GBC, basic fuchsin, color phenol as-d, acid red 35, 158, 265, Solvent Red 124, diazo component and coupling component of azo dyes, etc. it can also be used as raw material for pesticide production, such as synthesis of pesticide fungicide "Tricyclazole", insecticide fenitrophor, chloramidine, herbicide acetochlor, etc, It can also be used as raw material of rubber vulcanization accelerator, saccharin raw material, corrosion inhibitor raw material, etc. In organic synthesis, o-toluidine is mainly used to synthesize heterocyclic compound indole and its derivatives.
