DESCRIPTION

Sodium Metabisulfite

Properties: white or yellowish crystalline powder, with strong SO2 smell, relative density of 1.4, easily soluble in water and glycerol, acidic aqueous solution, solubility increases with temperature, slightly soluble in ethanol. It is easy to oxidize and deteriorate in the exposed air, and continuously release SO2, and finally turn the product into sodium sulfate. Therefore, this product should not be stored for a long time. It will decompose when heated to 150 ℃.
