Product use:
Propylene is an important chemical raw material. Acrolein obtained by gas phase oxidation of propylene is used to produce acrylic acid, allyl alcohol, glyceraldehyde, hydroxyacetaldehyde and important food and feed additive methionine; Acrylonitrile obtained by ammoxidation of propylene is an important raw material for synthetic fiber, synthetic rubber and plastics; Chloropropene obtained by chlorination of propylene can be further synthesized into allyl alcohol, propylene dichloropropanol, chloropropanil, etc., which can be used as raw glycerol, epoxy resin, chlorohydrin rubber, surface activator, etc; Cumene is obtained by alkylation of propylene, which is the main intermediate of phenol at present.
