Qingdao Gather Great Ocean ALgae Industry Group Co.,Ltd(GGOG) is located in the West Coast New Area of Qingdao and was set up in August 2000 with a registered capital of 52.94 million yuan. GGOG covers an area of 350 acres at home and 450 acres at abroad. GGOG has 8 subsidiaries (one of subsidiaries is a foreign company).
The company uses seaweed as the main raw material to produce sodium alginate, carrageenan, agar-agar, seaweed polysaccharide vacant capsules, pharmaceutical excipients, propylene glycol alginate and other marine biological products. Those products are sold at home and abroad. GGOG is fully implementing the construction of “two zones and one base”. The industrial zone is recognized as “the first comprehensive algae processing zone” by China Algae Industry Association. The marine biomedical science and technology zone under construction has been approved the optimum project of new and old kinetic energy conversion in Shandong in 2020 and the key project in Qingdao. GGOG is building a “national marine ranch” base in Lingshan Bay. GGOG is realizing the high-end upgrading from food grade to marine biomedical grade.
