Outside View: white crystalline solid
Safety Description: low toxicity
Structural formula:
Mechanism of action:
Cyhalothrin is the only cultivar of the aryloxyphenoxypropionic acid class of herbicides with high safety for rice and, like other cultivars in this class, is an endo - sorbent herbicide. By the leaf and leaf sheath absorption of the plant body, conduction through the phloem, accumulation in the meristem region of the plant body, resistance to acetyl CoA carboxylase (ACCase), cessation of fatty acid synthesis, growth division of the cell cannot proceed normally, disruption of lipid containing structures such as the membrane system, and finally plant death. The absorption from cyhalothrin to weed death is relatively slow and generally takes 1-3 weeks. The symptoms of the weed after its application are as follows: tender buds at the four leaf stage shrank, leading to death. Old leaves at the two leaf stage showed minimal changes and remained green.
Object of action:
Oryzae (transplanting and live planting), with excellent selectivity for rice and so on, the selectivity is based on different metabolic rates, in the rice body, cyanofluoride can be rapidly degraded to the diacid state, which is inactive on acetyl CoA carboxylase, and thus has a high degree of safety for rice. It is safe for stubble crops because of its rapid degradation in soil and typical paddy water.
Prevention of removal of objects:
It is mainly used for controlling important grass weeds. Cyanofluoroacetate is highly effective against thousand gold pieces and has some preventive effect against low age Echinochloa species, but also against removal, Madang, double panicle Echinochloa, foxtail, cowwort, and Damselfl. Not effective against sedges weeds and broadleaf weeds.
Matters needing attention:
The drug is highly toxic to aquatic arthropods and avoids inflow to aquaculture sites. It has the potential to exhibit antagonism when mixed with partial broadleaf herbicides, manifested by reduced cyanofluoride efficacy.
Cyhalofop-butyl is an oxyphenoxypropionic acid type herbicide. It is mainly used in rice seedling field, direct seeding field and transplanting field to control most malignant gramineous weeds such as barnyardgrass, Qianjin and niujin grass, and can effectively control weeds resistant to dichloroquinolinic acid, sulfonylurea and amide herbicides. It has the characteristics of high efficiency, low toxicity and low residue.
