Asphalt is a brownish-black mixture of hydrocarbons with different molecular weight and non-metallic derivatives and it is one of the high viscosity of organic liquid, soluble in carbon disulfide. Asphalt is a kind of waterproof and moistureproof and anticorrosive organic cementing materials. Asphalt mainly can be divided into three kinds, CTP(coal tar pitch), petroleum asphalt and natural asphalt. Among them, the CTP is a by-product of coking. Petroleum asphalt is the residue after petroleum distillation. Asphalt is mainly used in coating, plastic, rubber and other industrial and paved road, etc.
