Property: It is of white crystalline particle, and is freely soluble in water, alcohols and ethers, with melting point between 52 DEG C and 56 DEG C, boiling point at 177 DEG C, relative density of 1.1361 (56/4DEC C), and refractive index of 1.4125 (56 DEG C).

Function: Methyl carbamate is one of important fine chemicals and raw materials for organic synthesis, and can be directly used as a drug, the intermediate to the synthesis of medicine and pesticide, including medicines for hypnosis, sedation, cancer prevention and the like, and carbamate herbicides, insecticides, etc., as well as the main raw material to produce rubber antioxidant and stabilizer. As produced by green chemical technology, the product has no harmful substance residues, and is an eco-friendly product in the same industry.
