An amine organic compound. It is a diamine, containing a carbon chain skeleton of hexane and amino functional groups at both ends. It is a colorless solid with a strong smell of ammonia, similar to piperidine.
Purpose:
Most of this product is used to synthesize nylon 66 and 610 resin, polyurethane resin, ion exchange resin and hexylidene diisocyanate, curing agent and organic crosslinking agent of urea formaldehyde resin and epoxy resin, stabilizer and bleach in textile and paper industry, corrosion inhibitor of aluminum alloy and chloroprene rubber emulsifier. 1,6-hexanediamine hydrochloride is obtained by salifying hexanediamine with hydrochloric acid below 28 ℃, which can be used to produce bactericide chlorhexidine acetate. Hexanediamine is also used in the production of adhesives, aviation coatings and rubber vulcanization accelerators.
