Properties

It had good effects on 9 species of Eimeria in chickens, especially on Eimeria tenella. Its activity peak stage is the sporozoite stage (i.e. the first day of infection), so it can be administered before or at the same time of infection, which is more suitable as preventive drugs or early therapeutic drugs. Some data have proved that chlorhydroxypyridine can inhibit the immunity of chickens to coccidiosis, and early withdrawal often leads to the outbreak of coccidiosis. At present, coccidia is easy to develop drug resistance to this product. This product also has a certain control effect on rabbit coccidia.
