Appearance: light yellow liquid
Properties: insoluble in water, soluble in organic solvents such as acetone, ethyl vinegar, ethyl acetate, isopropyl pure, etc.
Use:It is a highly effective anti-ultraviolet additive, widely used in polyurethane, adhesive, foam and other materials
Introduction: UV-1 is a formamidine type high-efficiency ultraviolet absorber that can effectively prevent the yellowing of two-component polyurethane coatings, flexible polyurethane foams, and polyurethane thermoplastic elastomers. It has a significant anti-yellowing effect. .
It can effectively absorb 240-350nm ultraviolet light, almost completely absorb 300-330nm ultraviolet light, the maximum absorption peak is 308nm, and in the region of 300-330nm, polyurethane is easily degraded by radiation, so UV-1 can effectively inhibit polymer polymerization The photocatalytic degradation of the product enhances the color stability of the product and prolongs the service life, especially in polyurethane products such as microcellular foam, whole skin foam, traditional rigid foam, semi-rigid foam, soft foam, fabric coating, and certain adhesives. It has excellent light stability in polymers, sealants and elastomers, as well as polyvinyl chloride and acrylic resins.
Usage:UV-1 is easy to use, easy to be miscible with polyester polyol and polyether polyol, has high solubility in many solvents, and has good compatibility with isocyanate and other polyurethane additives. Its anti-ultraviolet effect is 1.1-1.4 times that of benzophenone or benzotriazole.
Dosage:The normal dosage of UV-1 in polyurethane ranges from 0.2% to 1.0%. In adhesives and sealants, the concentration of UV-1 ranges from 0.5% to 1.0%.
