Purpose:
It is used in the manufacture of azo dyes and pharmaceutical intermediates, reactive, acidic, sulfide and other dyes.
Production process route:
The sulfonation reaction between nitrobenzene and fuming sulfuric acid is carried out at 115 ℃, the reaction product is neutralized to neutral with liquid alkali, and the sodium m-nitrobenzene sulfonic acid solution is obtained by filtration. The solution is reduced with iron filings as catalyst to obtain sodium m-Aminobenzene sulfonate. The iron mud is filtered and removed, and the filtrate is the sodium m-Aminobenzene sulfonate solution. Add sulfuric acid to the acid analyzer until the Congo red test paper turns blue, and keep the temperature at 70 ℃ Then, the sodium m-Aminobenzene sulfonate slurry was obtained by centrifugation and filtration.
Toxicity and protection:
This product is highly toxic. If swallowed or absorbed through the skin, it can cause serious poisoning. However, its toxicity is much lower than that of aniline and will not cause carcinogenesis. During the production process, it shall be strictly prevented from accidental clothing or splashing on the skin, the production equipment shall be sealed to prevent leakage, and the operators shall wear protective equipment.
Packaging and storage :
It is packed in plastic bags and externally in iron barrels or wooden barrels. 50kg per barrel. Store in a cool, ventilated and dry place, protected from heat, moisture and sun. Store and transport according to the regulations on toxic substances.
