Product performance:
Liquid chlorine, i.e. liquid chlorine, is a yellow green liquid. It is highly toxic. It vaporizes into gas under normal pressure. It can be seriously poisoned if inhaled into the human body. It has severe irritation and corrosivity. It burns and explodes when mixed with other flammable gases in the sunlight. It is active and can react with most simple substances (or compounds).
Product use:
Liquid chlorine is generally used after gasification and has a wide range of uses. It is a strong oxidant. It is used for bleaching in textile and paper industry, purification and disinfection of tap water, refining of magnesium and other metals, and preparing various chlorinated compounds such as pesticides, detergents, plastics, rubber, medicine and so on. In chemical production, polyethylene and liquid chlorine are combined to form polyvinyl chloride and chlorinated polyethylene. It is widely used in papermaking, textile, pesticide, organic synthesis, metal smelting, chemical raw materials and other industries, as well as domestic water disinfection.
