It is mainly used as surfactant, emulsifier, perfluorooctanoic acid and its sodium salt or ammonium salt, as dispersant in tetrafluoroethylene polymerization and fluororubber production, as well as raw material and beneficiation agent for preparing water increasing and oil repellent.
