Chemical property:

White to yellowish crystalline powder, non-toxic, slightly soluble in alcohol, insoluble in chloroform and ether, easily soluble in water, good compatibility with anions and non ions, good emulsification, foaming, foaming, penetration, decontamination and dispersion, rich foam and rapid biodegradation, but the degree of water solubility is inferior to that of fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sodium sulfate (AES). It is not sensitive to alkali and hard water, but its stability under acidic conditions is lower than that of general sulfonates, close to AES, and the long-term heating should not exceed 95 ℃. The irritation belongs to the medium level in surfactants. The irritation index of 10% solution is 3.3, higher than AES and lower than sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate (LAS).

Purpose:

Twelve sodium alkyl sulfate has excellent detergency, emulsification and foaming power. It can be used as detergent and textile auxiliaries. It is also used as anionic surface activator, toothpaste foaming agent, fire extinguishing agent, fire extinguisher foaming agent, emulsion polymerization emulsifier, medical emulsifying dispersant, shampoo and other cosmetic products, wool detergent and silk wool fine fabric detergent.
