This product is used as an intermediate of organic synthesis in medicine, pesticide and other industries, as a selective solvent for aromatic hydrocarbons, and as a solvent for a variety of insoluble organic compounds and resins. Dimethyl carbonate was synthesized by reacting with methanol.
