I. Characteristics Of Ammonium Carbonate:

Taixing Experimental Chemical Co., Ltd. developed ammonium carbonate products by making use of carbon dioxide in 1993, having mastered a unique production technology and method. At present, all the carbon dioxide raw materials are purified by us and the purity reaches 99.95%. Molecular formula of ammonium carbonate: (NH4)₂CO₃; CAS number: 506-87-6. It is a white, small lumpy or flaky, or crushed solid product, with an ammonia smell, soluble in water, insoluble in alcohol, hygroscopic, and will decompose into ammonia and carbon dioxide when heated to 580°C.

II. Uses Of Ammonium Carbonate:

Reagent grade ammonium carbonate is used for pharmaceutical pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical reagents, such as fermentation promoters. Industrial grade ammonium carbonate can be used to produce fertilizers, printing and dyeing auxiliaries, wool refining agents, buffers, and detergents. It is also a valuable oxidant for the production of electronic components and used for spot analysis of potassium, radium, and selenium. Besides, it can be chromatographic reagents, be used to displace various types of carbonate products, and also as foam agent for plastic and natural rubber latex.
