Copper Nitrate
Molecular formula: Cu (NO3) 2 · 3H2O
Molecular weight: 241.6
CAS Number: 10031-43-3
Physical and chemical properties: Copper nitrate has three types of hydrates: trihydrate, hexahydrate, and nonahydrate. The trihydrate is a deep blue columnar crystal with a relative density of 2.05 and a melting point of 114.5 ℃. Heating copper nitrate decomposes at 170 ℃ to form insoluble basic salts, which then transform into copper oxide upon further heating. Easy to dissolve in water and ethanol, its aqueous solution is acidic and hygroscopic. Copper nitrate is a strong oxidant that can cause combustion and explosion when heated, rubbed, or impacted with charcoal, sulfur, or other combustible substances.
Usage: Copper nitrate is used as a catalyst, oxidant, fluorescent powder activator, and photosensitive resistor material.
Packaging: 25kg inner plastic outer woven bag packaging, or according to customer requirements.
Execution standard: HG/T 3443-2014
