This product is used as emulsifier, dispersant, stabilizer, diffusing agent, softener, antistatic agent and antirust agent. It is used in medicine, cosmetics, paint pigment, textile, food, pesticide, detergent production and metal surface antirust cleaning industry. As a viscosity reducer, it is used in oil exploitation and transportation.
It is light yellow to amber oily liquid or paste at room temperature. Slightly bitter, soluble in water, ethanol, ethyl acetate and toluene, insoluble in mineral oil and vegetable oil.
