DL aspartic acid is colorless or white odorless crystal with acid taste. No optical rotation. It melts and decomposes at about 280 ℃. Insoluble in water, insoluble in ethanol and ether. It is a non essential amino acid and can be used as a nutritional supplement.
This product can be used as nutritional supplement, biochemical reagent, amino acid infusion and metal complex.
