English Name: Acetylated bisstarch adipate
Properties: acetylated double starch adipate, also known as double denatured glutinous rice powder, is a white to similar white powder, odorless, tasteless, insoluble in cold water and ethanol, and turns reddish brown in the presence of iodine. Starch gelatinization: the phenomenon that starch becomes semi transparent colloid under certain conditions after being heated with water.
Application: acetylated double starch adipate is a widely used chemical modified starch. The product not only has the inherent characteristics of glutinous rice, such as scent, glutinous, sticky, but also has the characteristics of good aging resistance and formability of modified starch. It can be used for processing sweet potato and green rice cake. Acetylated double starch adipate is a composite modified starch obtained by crosslinking and esterification of starch with the mixed anhydride of adipic acid and acetic anhydride and double denaturation of starch. The modified starch has excellent water breaking resistance, good transparency, low temperature stability and acid resistance.
