It is used as an intermediate of sodium dioctyl succinate sulfonate (rapid penetrant T). This product can also be used as internal plasticizer. It can be copolymerized with vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate, styrene and acrylate. The obtained copolymer has excellent impact resistance, cracking resistance, electrical and optical properties. It can be used as film, coating, adhesive, rubber, pigment fixing agent, petroleum additive, paper treatment agent, etc. The copolymer with vinyl acetate is elastic rubber and can be used as coating. The film made of copolymer with vinyl chloride has good low softening agent. However, the proportion of this product in the copolymer should not be too large, generally not more than 10%. When it is too large, the heat resistance and mechanical properties of the copolymer resin will decrease.
