Properties: white powder, melting point 622 ℃, easily soluble in water, has significant chelating ability to calcium, magnesium and other metal ions, can soften hard water and turn suspension into solution, weakly alkaline and non corrosive. It is an inorganic surfactant with strong emulsifying effect on lubricating oil and fat. The bulk density is usually divided into low density 0.35-0.5g/cm3 and medium density 0.51-0.65g/cm3, High density 0.66-0.9g/cm3.
Packing: lined with polyethylene plastic bags and covered with plastic woven bags, each bag is 25kg.
Uses: it is used as a quality improver for cans, fruit juice drinks, dairy products, soybean milk, etc. in the food industry. It is mainly used for tenderizing canned ham and softening bean skin in canned broad beans. It can also be used as a softener and thickener.
