In cosmetics, potassium stearate is added as a thickener in oily cosmetics such as facial cleanser, shampoo and gelling agent. At the same time, it is also an ideal lubricant and emulsifier in the chemical industry. The characteristic of high melting point makes it suitable for high temperature lubricants, especially in polyolefins.
