Faropenem sodium is the first listed oral penicillin antibiotic in China.
Faropenem sodium is mainly used to treat the following infectious diseases caused by Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, pneumococcus, Enterococcus, catarrh, Escherichia coli, citribacilli, Clay Bhai S, enterobacteria, Proteus mirabilis, Haemophilus influenzae, Streptococcus Haemophilus, Streptococcus, Propionibacterium acnes, Bacteroides and other sensitive bacteria.
1. Urinary system infection: pyelonephritis, cystitis, prostatitis, orchitis;
2. Respiratory infection: pharyngitis, tonsillitis, acute and chronic bronchitis, pneumonia, lung abscess (lung abscess disease);
3. Uterine adnexitis, intrauterine infection, vestibular adenitis;
4. Superficial skin infection, deep skin infection, acne (with suppurative inflammation);
5. Secondary infections such as lymphangitis, lymphadenitis, mastitis, perianal abscess, trauma, scald and surgical trauma;
6. Dacryocystitis, wheat granuloma, meibomian adenitis, keratitis (including corneal ulcer);
7. Otitis externa, otitis media, sinusitis;
8. Periodontitis, periodontitis and jaw inflammation.
This product is used clinically, especially for bacterial infections in pediatrics, such as respiratory tract infections. It is 95-100% effective and has a high clinical evaluation. In China, faropenem is a third-line antibacterial drug. It is generally used to treat drug-resistant bacteria or mixed infections of multiple bacteria, or it will be used only when other antibacterial drugs are ineffective or can not be used.
