Appearance：Dark blue powder. Insoluble in water, acetic acid, ethanol, pyridine, xylene and toluene, slightly soluble in chloroform (heat), o-chlorophenol and quinoline. It is brown in concentrated sulfuric acid and produces blue precipitation after dilution. It is blue in the alkaline solution of insurance powder and red light blue in the acidic solution.

Synopsis: Vat blue RSN is mainly used for cotton fiber dyeing and cotton printing. It is also used for two bath over dyeing of Uygur cotton and polyester cotton fabrics. Dyeing viscose fiber has a lighter color. It can compete with reduced blue, brown, olive, etc. for blue, dark gray, etc. It is also used to make pigments for ink.
