[ Introduction ]:
Enoxaparin sodium is a low molecular weight heparin sodium extracted from pig intestinal mucosa, which is obtained by esterification of heparin benzyl ester sodium derivative, and then produced by alkali lysis. Structurally, it is composed of many complex and uncertain oligosaccharides. Most oligosaccharides have 4-enolpyranoic acid at the non reducing end of the sugar chain and 1,6-dehydrated structure at the reducing end of the sugar chain, accounting for 15 ~ 25% of all sugars;
The weight average molecular weight of enoxaparin sodium is 3800 ~ 5000, the mass percentage of oligosaccharides with molecular weight < 2000 is 12 ~ 20%, the mass percentage of oligosaccharides with molecular weight 2000 ~ 8000 is 68 ~ 82%, the titer of anti XA factor per mg is 90 ~ 125 IU, and the ratio of anti XA to anti IIA is 3.3 ~ 5.3;
Enoxaparin sodium catalyzes the inactivation of coagulation factors IIA, Xa, IXA, Xia and XIIa by binding with antithrombin III (AT-III), which mainly plays an anticoagulant role by inhibiting Xa.
