Properties: colorless, transparent, oily liquid, slightly aromatic. Soluble in acetone, ethyl acetate, ether, methanol, n-butanol, carbon tetrachloride, toluene and other organic solvents, insoluble in mineral oil, solubility in water is 0.45%.

Usage: This product is a plasticizer with strong solubility with a variety of resins. It can be dissolved with a variety of cellulose resins, rubber and vinyl resins. It has good film-forming, adhesion and waterproof. It can be used as plasticizer, solvent and gelling agent for PVC resin, cellulose resin, vinyl resin, natural rubber and synthetic rubber. It is often used in the production of cellulose acetate film, varnish, transparent paper and molding powder in combination with diethyl phthalate. A small amount is used in the production of nitrocellulose. It can also be used as plasticizer of nitrile rubber. This product can also be used as a solvent for mosquito repellent oil (crude oil), polyvinyl fluoride coating, methyl ethyl ketone peroxide and DDT.
