Industrial grade White Mineral Oil is obtained from the base oil produced by hydrocracking through deep dewaxing, chemical refining and other processes. It can be used in chemistry, chemical fiber, textile, petrochemical, electric power, agriculture, PE, PU, PS and other production.
A white mineral oil is needed in the production of polystyrene (hereinafter referred to as PS). Some people call it 300# plastic oil, and others call it plasticizer. No matter what the name is, the purpose of adding this white oil in the production of PS is to improve the fluidity during injection molding, play an internal lubrication role, and increase the plasticity, toughness and elasticity of products. According to different PS varieties, the addition amount is 1 ~ 6%. The price of this white oil is higher, and the price of import from abroad is higher. According to relevant literature, styrene filling oil can be summarized as paraffin based mineral oil, medium and high viscosity (68#), good stability, food grade standard and high flash point (above 235 ℃).
