Glyceroi monolaurate (GML), also known as monoglyceride Dodecanoate, is a lipophilic non-ionic surfactant. It naturally exists in breast milk, coconut oil and American dandelion. It is an excellent food emulsifier with HLB value of 5.2. At the same time, it is also a safe, efficient and broad-spectrum bacteriostatic agent. It has the dual functions of emulsification and antisepsis.
