Sodium ethyl xanthate is one of the sodium xanthate series products with weak collector but the best selectivity. It is widely used in the flotation of easily floatable sulfide ores and the preferential flotation of complex sulfide ores. It can also be used as hydrometallurgical precipitant and rubber vulcanization accelerator.
