Comparative density 1.62, resolvable in water, melting point 73.3-76.7 degree(disassemble ), its aqueous solution appears alkalescence ;not soluble in ethanol or carbon bisulfide . When heated to 100 degree, lose unit crystalloid water, and turn into one water material (Na3po4 .H2O); when heated to 212 degree, converge to Anhydrous Trisodium Phosphate. Uncovered in air, it is easy efflorescent. Its aqueous solution rots skin.
Purpose: softener, scour for chemical,weaving, printing and dyeing,power generator industry, antiscale for boiler use, softener for paper dyeing industry, PH value buffering agent for cementing compound in producing satin paper, dye fixatives for dyeing, Improvement use for silk brightness, anti- frailty dose for producing thread. It is used to clean oil and dirty, and as antiseptic and antitrust in metallurgy industry . Porcelain Enamel Industry use it as flux and decolourizer. Tannery uses it as peltry degrease. And it is used as the Merit accelerant in developer. It is used as tooth and bottle cleaner, rubber milk solidifying agents, liquid glucose cleaner.
