Physical and chemical properties: colorless crystal, easily deliquescent. The relative density is 2.065, the melting point is 36.4 ℃, and all crystal water is lost at 105-131 ℃. Dissolved in water and ethanol, the aqueous solution is weakly acidic, oxidizing, and can cause combustion when in contact with flammable materials. Ingestion is harmful.
Uses: Zinc nitrate is commonly used for electroplating zinc and preparing steel phosphating agent, printing and dyeing mordant, pharmaceutical acidification catalyst, latex gel agent, resin processing catalyst, etc.
