Physical and chemical properties:

It is a colorless or light yellow oily fuming liquid with a pungent odor. Chlorosulfonic acid has strong hygroscopicity. Contact with water will cause a violent reaction, form an explosion, and release a large amount of hot, white sulfur trioxide and acid mist of hydrochloric acid gas. Chlorosulfonic acid is extremely corrosive.

Uses: Used as a sulfonating agent, widely used in the production of dyes, pharmaceuticals and intermediates. Manufacture of sulfa drugs, reactive dyes, detergents, plastics, pesticides, saccharin and raw materials for the defense industry.

Packaging and storage and transportation:

1. Packed in a special tanker or special metal can, and cleaned regularly;
