It is mainly used for metal etching (such as stainless steel, copper, iron, etc.), with fast etching speed and can meet the requirements of precision etching. For example, clock accessories with high etching requirements can control the etching whiteness and sand bottom lines. In addition, when etching SMT steel mesh, the roundness of hole wall can be effectively controlled; Non food use.
Ferric chloride hexahydrate (feci36h2o) is a solid form or crystalline form of liquid ferric chloride. It is a brownish yellow massive solid and has all properties and uses of ferric chloride.
Ferric chloride hexahydrate has no odor, astringent taste, strong moisture absorption and deliquescence. It can deliquesce into reddish brown liquid in the air. It is easily soluble in water, and the aqueous solution is strongly acidic, which can solidify the protein. Soluble in ethanol, liquid sulfur dioxide, ethylamine, aniline, etc., insoluble in glycerol, phosphorus trichloride, etc.

1) This product can be dissolved with etching circulating solution or tap water;
2) During dissolution, measures such as increasing the dissolution temperature, hydraulic circulation or mechanical stirring and crushing the product can improve the dissolution rate;
3) The acidity of this product is controlled according to the different requirements of different customers. When the products with low acidity are dissolved (especially with tap water), turbidity (i.e. ferric chloride hydrolysis) may occur; Products with acidity > 0,5% will not produce turbidity when dissolved.
4) Products with acidity < 0.5% can be dissolved according to the following recommendations:
A. It is recommended to use etching circulating solution for dissolution to prevent turbidity after dissolution of the product. If turbidity occurs, add a small amount of hydrochloric acid to dissolve the turbidity;
B. when dissolved in tap water, products with acidity less than 0.5% may produce turbidity. A small amount of hydrochloric acid can be added to tap water, and then the product can be added for dissolution. The amount of hydrochloric acid added is to make the final acidity of ferric chloride solution greater than 0.3%.
