Common name:Chlormequat Chloride
Chemical name:Chlorination -2- Chloroethyl Trimethylamine
Chemical structural formula:
Molecular formula:C5H13Cl2N
Molecular weight:158.07
Biological activity:Plant growth regulator
Physicochemical property:Melting point:240-241℃
Vapor pressure:(20℃) 0.010mpa
Solubility:Easily soluble in water, soluble in ethanol, slightly soluble in dichloroethane, insoluble in benzene, dimethylbenzene, ethyl ether, anhydrous ethano and acetone.
Stability:Extremely easy to air-slake when exposed to air; stable in neutral and slightly acidic solution; decompose after heating when meeting the strong alkaline substance.
Animal toxicity:Rattus norvegicus acute oral LD50 > 2,000mg/k; low toxicity.
Purpose:Chlormequat is plant growth retardants, which can inhibit plant cell to grow but will not infect cell division; it can shorten internode length and petiole of the plant and make the plants short and strong, the stalks thicken, the leaves turn green, improving insect resistance ability of plants. It can make crops endure drought and waterlog and prevent the crops from lodging; it has anti-saline ability and can prevent shedding of cotton bolls and increase the tuber of potato.
Product specification and packaging: 98% active compound, plastic bags filled with nitrogen, aluminium-foil bag, cardboard barrel, 50kg / barrel. Packaging can also be arranged according to customer requirements.
