Synopsis:Viaminate is a retinoic acid derivative with a structural formula similar to all trans retinoic acid. Its action mechanism is similar to 13 CIS retinoic acid and aromatic retinoic acid, but its side effects are lighter than all trans retinoic acid. Oral administration can regulate and control the differentiation and growth of epithelial cells, inhibit keratinization, reduce sebum secretion, inhibit the keratinization process of keratinocytes, restore the abnormal keratinization to normal, inhibit the growth of Propionibacterium acnes, and regulate immunity and anti-inflammatory effects. It is clinically applicable to the treatment of acne. It can also be used for facial disseminated miliary lupus, pityriasis rubra, hair follicle keratosis, various types of ichthyosis, palm toe keratosis, oral mucosal leukoplakia and mycosis fungoides.
