Polymeric MDI, also known as crude MDI, with chemical name of polymethylene polyphenyl polyisocyanate, is the main raw material for the production of polyurethane rigid foam products. It is mainly used in refrigerator, cold storage spraying, pipe insulation, exterior wall insulation, automobile interior decoration, adhesive, solar water heater, imitation wood and other industries.
Polymeric MDI is a mixture of isocyanate and diphenylmethane diisocyanate with a certain amount of high functionality. It is a dark brown liquid at room temperature.
