This product is used as emulsifier, stabilizer, thickener and wetting agent in medicine, cosmetics and textile industry, dispersant in paint industry and emulsifier in oil field.
It is yellow to amber viscous oily liquid at normal temperature. Soluble in ethanol, ethyl acetate, petroleum ether and toluene, insoluble in cold water, can be dispersed in hot water.
