NAPHTHOL AS-BS is mainly used as a red primer for cotton dyeing. It can be combined with red base R to get rose red and red base G to get brilliant peach red with blue light. It can also be mixed with chromophenol as or chromophenol as-ol, and then combined with red base G to get a very bright red. It can also be used to dye vinylon, viscose fiber, silk and to make fast pigment and neutral pigment.
