Structure：

Physicochemical properties:

Appearance: white or light yellow gel like colloid.

Solubility: easily soluble in water; It can be dispersed in butyl stearate, glycerol trioleic acid ester and mineral oil.

Stability: stable when the pH value is 4 ~ 7. When the pH value is less than 4, it will decompose; When the pH value is greater than 7, it decomposes slowly. It will decompose when heated at high temperature for a long time.

Flash point: > 93 ℃

Danger: irritant. Irritating to skin and eyes.

Purpose:

1. As the main component or auxiliary component of detergent and foaming agent, it is widely used in the field of personal care products such as toothpaste, shampoo, hand sanitizer, shampoo, shower gel and so on.

2. Compared with sodium dodecyl sulfate, ammonium dodecyl sulfate has lower toxicity and irritation, so it is widely used in personal care products such as shampoo and shower gel.

3. In view of the irritation of dodecyl ammonium sulfate, when applied to products in direct long-term contact with human body, such as skin care products, the addition amount should not exceed 1%.
